The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office prosecutes all class “C” misdemeanor offenses and traffic offenses filed in the Montgomery County Justice of the Peace Courts. All traffic tickets and class “C” misdemeanors filed in any of the many municipal courts located in Montgomery County are not prosecuted by the District Attorney’s Office. Cases in municipal court are handled by that municipality’s city prosecutor.
